Hi,

I installed Sever SQL agent on one of my standalone SQL server (MS SQL) Commvault recognized the client, but when I tried to add the databases into content to do the backup, I couldn’t add them. I was able to discover all the databases. The service account has sysadmin role.

Hello @TD89

First it should be noted that this is not necessary. The default subclient upon every job performs a discovery and adds any new databases not already in a subclient to the default and performs a backup.

However if you want to assign the content you have to click in that “Subclient Name” column and it will display the list of subclients. Alternatively you can select them all then click on the drop down at the bottom to “change all selected...” and select a subclient. Note you must click and select the subclient.

@Scott Reynolds Thank you so much Scott, clicking the “Subclient Name” did the trick.
