Hello,

opening a new thread becaus i couldn´t find anything covering my situation specifically.

My client wants to upgrade his ComCell from SP16 to 11.32. I am aware, I have to upgrade to 2022E first and then 11.32 second.

 

At the same time the underlying OS 2012R2 is supposed to be upgraded to 2019. The SQL Installation needs to be upgraded as well.

 

Is there a best practice recomendation on the order of operation?

Is it realistic to go well with doing all of this in place or would you recommend instaling everything on a new system and then moving the CommCell over to that new system via DR?

Unfortunately not exactly what I’m looking for. I am aware of this procedure. My client would prefer not having to utilize another server for this process. 
my question if all of the upgrades in question are also possible as an inplace-upgrade and if they are in what order they should be applied, remains unanswered.

 

anyone with experience performing all upgrades inplace?
