Upgrade the environment to 11.28.44

@varadharajan  A reboot should NOT be required and rarely is on most installs\upgrades.

It should not be required for Commvault itself, but maybe 3rd part tool that comes with v11.28 (like Python) would require your windows Commserve to reboot.

I had to do it during my upgrade from 11.26 to 11.28.

And, honestly I would recommend that you perform a reboot of your Commserve after the completion of your upgrade, just to check it’s all restarting fine within your environment (especially if you have windows updates that have to be applied).

My Commserver environment is version 11.26.8. Can it be upgraded to 11.28.x? What are the considerations to keep in mind during the upgrade? I've seen similar version upgrades in the community, but they are all slightly higher than my environment. Additionally, I would like to know if any version of 11.26.x can be upgraded to 11.28.x?Looking forward to your reply.
