Question

VMware backpu: Limitation on number of VMs per subclient?

Forum|alt.badge.img+2

Hi,

Anyone have any idea on what is the limitation on number of VMs per subclient can be configured?

Regardless of number of readers/writers available, this is for VMware environment. I couldnt find any information on BOL nor Google.

Thanks and regards,

Lee

I cant think of any real limitation - I do not believe one exists. Of course back in the day, single stream synthetic full would limit how big you wanted a single subclient. Lump auxcopy jobs could also be another reason to break up the content - but other then that there should not be any hard limit on how many you can configure in a subclient with VM centric (VSA V2)

HI @SMSSB ,

That’s right we do not have any limitation.

I would just recommend you check our Best Practice:

Sebastien
