vmware snapshot of a Commvault proxy

We have a standard patching process wherein we take a snapshot and leave the server running and then the snapshots are committed the next day just as a fail safe ; from what I understand this process should not be used to patch Commvault windows proxies as could have issues during the backup copy process (we use intellisnap; like hot-add)

Good day!

In your scenario i would suggest to remove the VSA proxy from the proxy list in virtualization client if its patched and with snapshot until its comitted

Say if you have 4 proxies try to make the patches on turns 1 proxy per day.

That's fine the question is this is not a good idea to have an open snap on proxies..we are using nutanix so all nbd
