If you have a question, we’re here to help. We also have a great portfolio of resources that may expedite getting the info or solution you need - or are just great to bookmark. Here are the main resources that you need to know about as you get started with Commvault:
- Customer Support Portal. This is your hub for support cases as well as maintenance and security advisories specific to your environment.
- Set up your account and update your contact details. And make sure to set your preferred hours.
- If you have an issue the Community didn’t already have an answer for, you can create a case here. You can also check in on or add updates to existing cases.
- Readiverse Academy - education courses, snack-size training, and certifications: start here for background on courses, exams, certifications and on-demand training. Or go directly to courses through the links below.
- User Guide & Documentation: In 2025, we introduced the User Guide, a redesigned documentation experience that makes it easier to get to the guidance you need to get started and deploy Commvault. If you prefer, you can also continue to access Commvault Cloud documentation through the direct links: Self-hosted and as-a-Service. These have everything you need to know about each release.
- Arlie: Available 24/7, ask “how-to” questions and get step-by-step guidance on configuring and using Commvault Cloud from our friendly AI Assistant.
- Cloud services. The Commvault Cloud Services Portal provides a suite of solutions for managing and monitoring your data. You can download software updates, view your Reporting dashboard and Health Report, request branding and personalization for your CommCell environment, use data sizing tools to predict your data protection needs, and access a variety of other useful applications. After you create an account, you can also use the Commvault Store to download software updates, reports, App Studio applications, alert rules, and workflows.
- Commvault.com. We know, it’s a company website – how useful could it be? In this case – very. It’s a great hub to find links to everything you need as well as the full roster of product data sheets and demos, Commvault blogs and press releases, customer success stories, industry perspectives, events, and more.
- (For Partners) Partner Advantage portal. If you’re a Commvault partner, this is your hub for access to resources, updates, and enablement.
