Dear friends, 👋🏻

I am reaching out to you for your valuable assistance. I have recently integrated a PostgreSQL version 10 database and started a backup, but the process is too slow. Despite increasing the streams, the transfer rate remains very low.

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or advice you can provide to improve this situation.

Thank you very much for your attention and support!

Best regards,😁✌🏻

I don’t like saying this but is it possible to have a case opened so this can be looked at based on environmental factors and what metrics in logs report for the backup attempts. Performance tends to be complex.

It looks like a File System Based Backup Set.
--- What version of Commvault is the CommCell at, and what version is the client running?
--- What is the Indexing Version of the client running PostgreSQL? By default, it should be V2 with a new deployment of a newer agent, but I am not sure what agent version was used during the installation.

--- You could try running the V2 Indexing upgrade workflow, just in case, for the client and the DB Instance.
--- If you have a supported configuration, maybe Block Level Backup might interest you.
