Assuming you looked into your on-prem Command Center I would advise you to have a look under Manage→Customization→Navigation preferences. You can unfold the Protect section to examine if it should be visible.

Hi @Manics.mca

To configure K8s backups in Command Center, You’ll need the following:
Access Node (Machine with Commvault Virtual Server package installed, Or a Commvault Accessnode Container)
API Server URL (You can get this from Command “kubectl cluster-info”)
Service Account (Using either the default cluster-admin (superuser) role or a custom ClusterRole)

The following documentation contains all of the information required to set up Protection for your K8s Environment: https://documentation.commvault.com/2024e/essential/protecting_kubernetes_with_commvault.html

Best Regards,

Michael

@Manics.mca this is perfectly documented as shared by @MichaelCapon. In case it's too difficult I would call in external help. Good luck!

B.t.w. in case you run FR36 or newer you can even ask Arlie to share the steps with you ;-)

Dear @MichaelCapon , @Onno van den Berg ,

We were unable to find the "Protect – Kubernetes" option in the Commvault Console or Command Center. However, this option appears to be available in Metallic.

Kindly confirm and provide support on this. Please note Commvault version : V11 SP32.76

Regards,

Mani D
