I have clients that I was previously backing up as a FSA, I released the FSA license and starting backing them up as VM’s. 

The software version on client backing up as VM with FSA agent released shows missing latest feature release

I would like to continue backing them up as VM’s, I just don't want them to show up on the Software Version report as missing the latest feature release.

What are my options ?

 

 

releasing the license shouldnt cause a difference in what updates are installed unless there is update schedule specifically targeting File system clients.

What version is installed on the client? What version is present in cache.

The current version is 11.20.32 and the cached version is 11.36.39.
They are being backed up as a VM and they are failing a check readiness.

What security concerns are present if the client is being backed up a as VM but is not up the the latest FSA agent version stored in the cache ?
