We can only assume at this point that you’re talking about deduplication or data domain. :)  So here are a few things that would help us help you.

• What is the total amount of data that will be backed up?
• What is the backup frequency for full, incremental etc.
• Expected retention?
• What is the expected growth rate?
• Model of backend storage and capacity
