I’m a little confused about Back-end Size for Disk Storage in our MAs.

We are planning to deploy 2000TB for each 2 physical Node MAs. By my undertanding, using 2 DBBs in 2 Nodes, the maximum would be 1000 TB.

 

My question: This is a point of failure and can limit the writing or anything else?

This basically says, to support 2pb we would expect to need 4 MAs, and the DDB would be 6 partitions (max) spread out among those. This is what we’ve tested. 

It doesn’t mean it will immediately break if you go over these numbers, but there could be performance issues down the road if undersized. 


Thanks @Jon Kuzmick I will talk to our architeture teams to see what we can do before we deploy these servers.
