Trouble Adding 4th Disk to VSA Proxy Server

Forum|alt.badge.img+3

Hi All,

Greetings

We have below Setup where Ovirt is integrated with Commvault.

Commvault Proxy Server Version--11.32
Commserve---11.32.28
oVirt ---4.3.10.4-1.el7

We are facing problem for VM which are having more then two disks, as VSA Proxy server is not allowing to add the 3rd Disk. In our setup VSA proxy server is having only one disk.

We are unable to add more then 3 disks to VSA proxy server.

Is it a bug?

Hi Rajiv,

Thanks for your reply!!!

Issue has been resolved now.Yes your understanding is correct.

Findings---

  1. Our VSA Proxy server was not activated till today.(Windows)
  2. After the Windows activation (VSA Proxy Server), we are able to add more disks to the VSA Proxy VM.

So backup is also happeing now without any error.

Arup

Hello @kangkan If I understood it correctly, you are trying to backup a VM which has more than 2 disks from a proxy and you are getting some issues. Does the backup fail or complete with warnings? May I know the error you are getting in the job and in the events tab of the backup?

Best,
