Hi All

A question arose from my client, who backed Oracle Big tablespace.

Is there a need for special adjustments when backing up BIG FILES TABLESPACE compared to regular TABLE SPACES when backing up  directly ( not from local RMAN script) from Commvault

By adjustments, I mean a change in the settings at the SUB CLIENT level or the backup command level sent to RMAN by Commvault

Hi Maoz,

Use Section Size clause. This enables you to divide large data files into multiple sections and simultaneously backup the data file across multiple channels.
