Hello Commvault Community,

I hope you're all doing well. I wanted to share a recent experience I've had with Commvault, and I'm seeking your insights and advice.

I'm facing some challenges with Tomcat services, and I've attached screenshots to illustrate the issue

- Install Logs

- Tomcat Logs

I'm reaching out to the community to see if anyone has encountered a similar issue with Tomcat services during installation or if you have any advice on how to troubleshoot this further.

Thank you all for your support and insights. I look forward to your feedback and suggestions.

Hi @Alexis ,

Can you confirm if there is a “web” folder under the Log Files location?

If it does not exist, please create it and retry the install

There is current a known issue seen in tomcat 10.x versions and in some instances of 9.x that are causing a similar condition.

Installation binaries from FR30.57 or higher and FR32.2 or higher should have the issue already resolved.

@Alexis

Please check the below and try the installation again.

Check if the Port 80 is listening to System PID 4 -

Check if Branch cache service is running - If Yes then disabled that and proceed with the install.

Also check in IIS the Default Web Site should use Port 82 and Consoles to use Port 81. If not working then raise a support case.
