Hi

Is it possible to target just a handful of mailboxes for content indexing

Or even target by specific EDB’s or AD groups

You can create a Archive with Content Indexing Enable and another one without. So add your Exchange Databases and make sure that the users you want to content index are in the same DB and assign the archive policy with the CI to that Exchange Database in Commvault.

The key is to make sure all your users are part of that Exchange DB.

Dude

Thanks for the quick response

That works!

Regards

PS: In an ideal world it would be great to do this from the ‘one single’ archive and selectively pick users who will have content indexed
