Support of MongoDB 8

I couldn't find anything related to support for version 8.0.

@Mohamed Ramadan it was released earlier this month. So, I don't expect it has even landed on the table of the product manager. I woud for sure open a CMR for it via your account team or via support.

The question has been asked but please note questions around the road map are very tight lipped as they are always subject to change.

Hi Team,

we are in process of running compatibility and acceptance QA suite with version 8.0. We will keep you updated.

Our practice is to add support for all App releases in the most recent LTS.

May I ask for an update on this topic? According to the documentation, MongoDB 8 is still not supported.

The most recent certified version of MongoDB 8.x is 8.0.4. MongoDB 8.x is supported by 11.38 Maintenance Release 18 or higher.

Thank you for your reply. I didn't look at the Innovation Release because I expected to get the latest supported MongoDB version up to the latest LTS. My Commcell needs to use an LTS and I can't wait until 2025E. Do you see any possibility of getting this MongoDB version supported for 2024E?

HI Pascal, we do not see any sign of this… 11.38 is the first FR supporting MongoDB 8.x.
