Issue Incremental Backup Operation on object storage : S3

Hi Karim,

we do not expect any issues with AWS Lifecycle policy for incremental backup.

what is the Feature pack you are running? In FR32, we have started skipping backup for archived objects.

can you please open a support ticket so we can help you with the resolution?

We are in 11.32.45 commvault version.

We opened a support ticket with these answer : “we will not be able to backup glacier objects and they can be removed from the backup”

 reviewed the logs,  From the logs it looks like the backups are failing because the storage class of the object backed up is Glacier and commvault cannot backup Glacier object and hence we are seeing this error message :

Hi Karim,

It looks like the failed files are getting carried over from previous backup job.

can you run a new FULL backup and it will exclude the objects archive tier?
