Hi

I’m trying to use 1Touch restore, and I have the backup set to backup everything, and checked the system state box, but when we go and pick the backup set to restore it gives an error

“System State components needed for 1Touch recovery [ Offline Files, Registery, System Protected Files ] are not available in the backups selected……….”

The source is Windows 2016, with 3 hard drives, on my backup job (default backupset) in contents I have “\” and checked “Backup System State”.

Using commvault version 11.32.63    platform release 2023E  Client is at same version.

Anything else I need to do to get the system state backed up right?

Thanks

-Brian

Although system state is protected, it sounds like perhaps the contents may have been filtered out. Check the filters on the job and in the global filter settings to ensure things like “ System Protected Files “ are not listed in any filter.
