Can we browse file for physical server backups using tapes?

Forum|alt.badge.img+7

Hi,

We have some physical servers which use the File Level Backups. I wonder if I just want to restore some certain files in those physical servers from tapes; what is the best practice for it?

Thank you.

No problems at all. Correct. As long as tape is in there, you can browse and restore any file in that job.

Hi. A normal browse and restore will let you select the files and restore either in place or out of place to another location.

Hi @Alireza B

Thank you for the response. Sorry for the silly question, if I want to restore that in the tape, so after I put that tape in the tape library, I will be able to browse the file right?
