Hi all,

quick question. I have upgraded to 11.36 and I just noticed my DDB backups run every 3 days now.

Found why they changes from the BOL

https://documentation.commvault.com/2024e/expert/changes_in_commvault_platform_release_2024e_01.html

System created schedule for deduplication database (DDB) backups are run once every 3 days.

What is the reason they changed them to every 3 days ? I used to to have them run daily.

Thanks

This was done to reduce the load on CommServe and MediaAgents with frequent DDB backups and improve the overall CommCell efficiency.

if your environment is good with daily DDB backups, you can go ahead and change the schedule.
