hello @Ajal

There are two ways to accomplish this:

  1. Mount the LUNs on both MediaAgents (MAs) and configure the disks as local. You can then use a cluster tool like Windows Failover Cluster or Pacemaker on Linux to manage the disks (though this is not recommended).

  2. Use a network share to ensure the MediaAgent can access the mount path. The file path should match the shared location.

For example, if MediaAgent MA01 is accessing a disk library with the mount path D:\disk_library on MA01, follow these steps to allow another MediaAgent (e.g., MA02) to access the same folder:

  • Share the D:\disk_library on MA01 using a dedicated service account.
  • Use the UNC path and service account to share the mount path with MA02, like \MA1\disk_library.

@Mohamed Ramadan  thanks , media agnets are linux,

If we are going with the second option if the MA1 goes down or not available the library will show offline right,

Our goal is to achivr load balancing as well as redundancy

The best approach this @Ajal  would be GridStor to use Alternate Data Paths.

If you need any further information, feel free to ask.
