Hi Mansoor,

we need storage details to suggest a solution. here are the options.

  1. if your database is running on snapshot capable storage like NetApp or running in cloud storage - you can protect with IntelliSnap and copy to disk offline.https://documentation.commvault.com/11.24/expert/35420_oracle_intellisnap_configuration_01.html
  2. You can run forever incremental backup with rman image copy integration if #1 is not an option. https://documentation.commvault.com/11.24/expert/20606_configuring_oracle_subclients_that_use_image_copy_followed_by_intellisnap.html
  3. you can continue with rman streaming backup by using LAN free data transfer to backup storage.

Thanks,

Brahma

Hi @Mansoor, If the Oracle reside on a snapable volume the use IntelliSnap.

Please check the compatible arrays for snapshot from the link below -

IntelliSnap → https://documentation.commvault.com/11.24/expert/33073_supported_storage_arrays.html

If the volume are non-snapable then follow the best practices for streaming backups
