We have a HyperScale 1.5 Storage Pool with 3 nodes Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650 Server. We plan to upgrade Operating System from RedHat 7.7 to RedHat 7.9 (using Commvault workaround well documented). Since the firmware is not updated since they were first installed, we would like to update it, but it's not clear from the documentation if we can update all HW components or we have to check a compatibility matrix first. The link is: https://documentation.commvault.com/11.24/expert/113649_shared_responsibility_model_for_hyperscale_reference_architecture_platform_maintenance_and_upgrades.html

Should we update all the firmware server components (BIOS, HBAs, NICs...)?

Thanks all

Thanks and welcome @Jose Garcia !

I checked with the Manager of Hyperscale support and he said you can upgrade all of the HW components.
