Unmount error tape stuck in the drive

Hi guys,

I have a tape (ultrium-v7 LTO7) that stuck in a drive of my tape library (HPE StoreEver MSL6480). The drive will be replacing, but there’s no way I could get the tape out. The tape has some data in it. So, my question is can I copy the data in that tape to another tape?

Good evening.  Is the tape able to be read by the drive?  Are the jobs only on the tape or do they exist on another copy also such as primary?

@Orazan Hi there, I’m not sure if the drive can read the tape, but when I clicked the view content on the tape; it displayed the data. The job is still exist on primary copy.
