Forum|alt.badge.img+4

Hello,

I am going to install UNIX/LINUX custom package with answer file and I am trying to follow the below link but I can’t find the default.xml file location in the custom package I had created and there’s no illustration for that. If anyone did it before I will be grateful for his/her help?

@Saadhom ,

Are you following these steps:

https://documentation.commvault.com/2022e/expert/2027_creating_custom_package_for_unix_linux_and_macintosh_computers_using_installation_package.html

Then did you select that option?

If so, it should be located here:

Best Regards,

Sebastien

Hi,

The default.xml will be existing only if during package creation you chose to save the answers to the file. If you just create the package including the modules of concern, default.xml will not be created.
