Kubernetes "Add Cluster" Button missing in Command Center

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

Hello,

we’ve recently upgraded from 11.28 to 11.32 and a colleague who is responsible for Kubernetes told me, that since then the “Add cluster” Button is missing.

Since it is still available for me I reckon it is a permission thing, but I didn’t find any permission which would fit.

Does anyone know which permission he would need so he can add clusters?

Thank you!

Kind Regards,

Jakob

Hi Collin,

we played around a bit and found that somewhere in between 11.28 and 11.32 it became necessary to have the “Install Client” permission on “CommCell” entity.

Kind Regards,

Jakob

Hello @JakobL

I checked this in a lab and the button is still there.

Could you cycle the IIS Service, then Commvault’s TomCat Service and see if the button re-appears?

  1. Open a CMD Prompt and type [iisreset] which will cycle IIS Services
  2. Open Commvault Process Manager and restart the TomCat Service

Let me know if you still have an issue after this.

Thank you,

Collin
