Webhook as notification method for workflow authorisations

I’m setting up workflow authorisations and am able to use email as the notification method, I do have the ability to send notifications to a webhook.

I'm looking at using an alert to monitor for the authorisation workflows and send an alert via the webhook but I’m finding that the most obvious alert mechanism doesn’t seem to pickup the workflow jobs.

I have an alert set as below:

  • Category: Job Management
  • Type: Workflow
  • Criteria (all options selected)
  • Entities - all authorisation workflows and the get and process workflow

When I kick off the restore authorisation it does trigger an alert, but a delete jobs doesn't (for example).

I can’t see anything logged in the event log or audit trail that I could use to trigger the webhook either.

Has anyone tried anything similar to this before?

The first question to answer would be if [Delete Jobs Authorization] WF is deployed…

Yep, all the required business logic workflows are deployed and up-to-date.
