Dear Sirs.

Please your valuable help with the following question:
Are ASM grid ASM databases supported in Oracle and how can they be supported by commvault?

By the way, there is no problem that the database is in STARTED mode.

What recommendation could you give me about the latter.

Commvault does not backup ASM databases.  We do backup the database files stored in the ASM.

@Orazan Could you please help me and guide me on how do we backup the database files stored in the ASM?
