Once created you just need to right clight on the Copy > View > Schedules

or go to Schedule Policies:

https://documentation.commvault.com/2023e/expert/auxiliary_copy_schedules.html

Or you can log a case with Support and we will check and configure with you.

HI @Keshav Sawant ,

You can check our documentation below:

https://documentation.commvault.com/2023e/expert/additional_copies_of_backup_data.html

There is no limit. You are only limited by the amount of disk I/O, number of media agents, number of concurrent operations set on those media agents, number of streams available to the storage policies

Best Regards,

Sebastien

Hi Keshav

For most backups (not M365) you can add a second copy from the Pan-Backup Destinations.

https://docs.metallic.io/metallic/modifying_server_plan_in_advanced_view.html

Some auto generated plans may not have this option if they were created with a single copy.  Please reach out to a CSM for assistance with this.

The number of copies is limited by default to 2, if more copies are needed please discuss this with your CSM.

Regards

Andy

Please note that this thread is for SAAS/Metallic workloads.

I did not realise you were looking at Commvault Core product.

If you are using Metallic and need to create a second storage location please check the following guides.

https://docs.metallic.io/metallic/cloud_storage.html

https://docs.metallic.io/metallic/configuring_cloud_storage.html

The Secondary copy is set to run automatically every 30 minutes by default.  This can be edited from the Plan RPO:
