Hello,

I have a DDB Reconstruct running of a secondary copy that writes on Storage S3, the DDB backup writes on both S3 and CentricStor, i want to restore the DDB from the CentricStor library but it always try to restore from the S3. How can i force the restore from 1 specific library?

This DDB is partitioned and only 1 partition is offline.

Thanks,

hello @jmiamaral

you can try to restore the DB files manually, go to the Media Agent (MA) under the File System section. You'll find a default subclient named "DDB Backup." You can restore the DDB by job ID.

I recommend first changing the DDB path and selecting the "Move config only" checkbox before proceeding.

Hello @Mohamed Ramadan

The problem here is that the reconstruct started for the DDBs of the auxiliary copies but i have another DDB on the same media agent that is online, i cant choose to restore only the DDB of the aux right? Will it not affect the other DDB that is online?

Thanks,

jmiamaral

Hello @Mohamed Ramadan

Do you know if the data on the auxiliary copy gets deduped if the primary copy has dedup active? With no DDB on the aux copy.

Thanks,
