Does the use of combined Tiers in Azure ‘imply / force’ the use of a Media Agent running in Azure

(Assume the Data in Azure would be 300TB)

I would definitely suggest having an MA in Azure alongside the data itself.  It makes things easier when possibly dealing with egress costs to a local MA (aside from the normal use on restores, etc.).

Mike, Many many thanks.

That was the ‘factor’ I hadn't figured in

A Media Agent VM in Azure close to the data would be important (with CommVault controlling the power on/off state of that MA)

Thank you again
