Can commvault backup azure sql to on-premise storage ?

I still not clear that, Can commvault backup azure sql to on-premise storage ?

Hello @kitty-yip 

Yes absolutely. The backup destination can be any configured library onprem/cloud/etc

For Azure SQL it performs an export first to azure blob then copies that to backup library and deletes the bacpac file created.

Alternately can enable DacFx, in this configuration it performs the export to local storage on the access node then copies that over to the backup library.
