Question

Missing permission for run CVDiskPerf

Forum|alt.badge.img+5

Hi

I am trying to run CVDiskPerf on a HyperScale X ver. 3 node that have ransomeware protection enabled.

I am logged in as root, but when I am trying to execute the cvdiskperf command, I am getting “
-bash: ./CVDiskPerf: Permission denied”.

I have used this command on a HyperScale X ver. 2 cluster without any permission issues when I am logged in as the root user.

Does any one know how to solve this problem=

Hi @Anders Trier Rasmussen

Thanks for reaching out, this is expected and by design when ransomware protection is enabled.

You should be able to reach the same outcome using the “Validate Mount Path” feature.

Thank you
