Forum|alt.badge.img+12

Hello Team,

We have 2 different Commvault services on our 2 different CommServe servers. However, these services did not work even though we rebooted the servers, even though they were automatic startup types. We want to know what these services do and we want to know if they are safe to run manually.

This one is exist on Active Node:

@0ber0n , the MongoDB service runs that db and runs as needed.

The CEIP service is a MSFT service:

The Customer Experience Improvement Service is designed to help Microsoft improve its products over time. This program collects information about computer hardware and how people use the product, without interrupting the users in their tasks at the computer.

The information that is collected helps Microsoft identify which features to improve.

The big question though is: are these Commserves not running, or was it just a curiosity?

Thanks!

Hi @Mike Struening

Thank you for the reply.

Yes, these services are not at the running state. A scan was found in services with "Startup=Automatic" but not "Status=Running". In that case I will try to run Manual.
