How difficult is it to obtain authorisation to use the CommCell Console for new installations?

Or am I better off just keeping an old Media Kit around?

Hi @Erase4ndReuseMedia,

Kindly refer below kb for details and AUTH code request.

Just install the older version of CV then upgrade to the latest. That way you don’t lose access to the commcell console.

Thank you for that @Pradeep, but I am hoping for a more permanent option.

Sounds like this will be the way to go.

If you are planning on leveraging the CommCell Console, then install 11.32 and upgrade to 11.34 if you need that version (Consider 11.32 is a long term release and may be a better option). The authcode is for one-off scenarios, for something perhaps you cannot do in Command Center. Authcodes only last for 1 day by default.

Thanks @Damian Andre

Command Center feels like a cheap imitation of Commvault, so I am keen to hold onto the CommCell Console for as long possible.
