best practices with incremental and synthetic full schedule

That approach will run a daily incremental and will consolidate the cycle once a week on Fridays.

I cannot see anything wrong with it, if it meets your requirements I’d say you are all good.

Any specific reason why you want a Synth Full to run every week?  Unless there’s a specific reason, I would go with Automatic or at least a longer duration between jobs.
