Hello,

On one of my sites, when I try to browse the vCenter, it takes a very long time before I can see the list of VMs.

Also on a client, when I browse the folder hierarchy.

Any ideas ?

Thanks  !!!

Aha, looks like you figured it out :grinning:

If you are doing a live browse there is always a bit of a delay since we will mount the disk of the VM and walk through it ‘live’ from the backup location. You can improve browse performance as well by enabling granular recovery but it supports less file systems and makes the actual restore perform slower - its a trade off. Hello,

My Media agent has multiple interfaces to avoid passing through firewall.

on the media agent client, I have forced the interface on Advanced | Job Configuration | Backup network section

I have set

source MediaAgent > destination vcenter

the source IP (192.168.100.201) of the media agent and the destination IP on the vCenter (192.168.100.210)

Now browsing is very quick !
