reset alert message of over capacity

Forum|alt.badge.img+8

HI teams,

my licence is limited to 10 backups Vms.

Unfortunatly, i add a new vm in my subclient and lauch backup.

Now i had a pop up alert of over capacity on startup commcell console.

I delete the vm now but the popup is still alive.

How can i delete this alert ?

Regards

Hi @virgil

If you still have a VM client registered in the Commcell, that will continue to consume a VM license.

You may need to decommission / disable backup activity / delete the undesired client to release the license.

Warning: Please be aware by deleting a client, all jobs associated to that client will also be immediately deleted and will not be recoverable.

Thanks,

Stuart

Hi,

You could have to delete the backup on each storage policy copies that this client is assigned to, and when done, run data aging.

Have you tried to clic on both links provided by this message ?

Laurent.
