Hi guys,

Based on the following link I can see that typically Autodiscovery for Exchange Mailbox User Mailbox Subclient runs once every 24 hours.

https://documentation.commvault.com/2022e/essential/94394_configurations_for_exchange_mailbox_user_mailbox_subclient.html

Is any way to set an own time and frequency for autodiscovery, e.g. once a day at 5.00 AM

Rgds,

Kamil

Hello @Kamil W

Just curious what is the reasoning behind wanting to change this?

On any case yes the frequency an be changed with an additional setting:

https://documentation.commvault.com/additionalsetting/?q=nTimer_ExchangeDiscoverTask

Note The value is in minutes.

There is no option to change it to a specific time, you can run a manual discovery by unchecking use cache check box otherwise if you restart the services at a specific time that starts the timer. So if you restart the services at 5AM that should be the time discovery is performed every day if set to 24 hours.

Hi @Scott Reynolds ,

I don’t have any reason to change it, the Customer does. :-)

I’ll follow the steps you provided and I’ll let you know, how it goes ASAP.

Rgds,

Kamil
