Hi,
i want to delete my old B2D library. On my new library i have used the same mountpoints, see screenshot.
Is it possible to delete the old offline library or do i then also delete the content of the mount points of the new library?

Another question:
I have create new storage policies. From the old storage policies i have removed the tapes from the library and put them into a safe.
Is it possible to delete the old storage policies or is it then not possible to restore from my tapes i have inserted into the safe?

Regards
Dennis

As you can see the paths of each library have a different Base Folder defined (with a timestamp) so even if they are pointing to the same X:\MNT0X paths they are using different subfolders. So you can delete safely the old library.

For the tapes, do not delete the old storage policies or you will lose the job history on the tapes.
