What is the best approach to backup Shared mailboxes in metallic. I have created a Dynamic Distribution List that has a query search to find all shared mailboxes.
Unfortunately, the DDL it’s not being detected in the metallic side.
Environment:Exchange online
Place of DDL: Exchange Online

Best way to backup Shared mailboxes is to backup all mailboxes, this will include the shred mailbox as well.

To clarify, does that mean that if user only purchase license for 10 users but has maybe a total of 200 mailboxes, they are not able to backup the shared drive until they purchase all 200 mailbox?

+4Hi, I had the same issue and resolved the issue with Workaround.
Created a script to auto add all shared mailbxes to a DDG and them add this DDG to Metallic.
you just need to run this script everyday or as per requirement.
