BoostFS version 7.8 on redhat 8.x

Forum|alt.badge.img+7

Hi Community,

I have a question about the compatibility of BoostFS 7.8 on redhat Linux 8.x.

BoostFS for datadomain in commvault are available up to 7.4

But on DELL the 7.4 become an old version of ddboost, do you plan to update this matrix compatibility ?

(in comparison BoostFS on windows server 2012/2019 is compatible up to 7.7)

please advice

regards,

Hello @christophe

Thank you for your patience on this one.

I don’t believe we have a compatibility matrix for BoostFS and Commvault, but for compatibility with RedHat versions, I would defer to the knowledge of Dell or RedHat.

Unless you are referring to the use of Hyperscale in which case there shouldn’t be other storage mounted to the nodes.

Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

Thank you,
Collin
