Hi, we have a client group which includes VMs depending on tags in vCenter (VMware).  The group uses Virtual Machine Association, and the group appears to refresh/resync every 2 hours.  We’re trying to find a way to force the resync either using a command or reduce it to 30 minutes using an additional setting.  There is a Sync function in Command Center (Manage > Server Groups > {Group_Name}), but we need to automate the process.  We are led to believe there is a setting, but a call to Commvault support was unsuccessful in fining it. Does anyone know of the setting or a command?

We are running V11.28

Thanks,

Sparky

Have you confirmed if that does what you are looking for?

I would not think that sync on a server group would cause a resync with vCenter for VM tags as part of a server group refresh.

I think the refresh only occurs when a discovery phase runs for the VM group / subclient (as part of backup job or preview function) - but I could be wrong. Just trying to figure out a method that works before we figure out how to automate it.
