Effective searches on documentation.commvault.com

I’m not sure exactly when it happened but the documentation site has been bifurcated into “Essential” and “Expert”

I find that most of the time when I search the site it takes me to essential which almost never has what I am looking for.

Typically I would have to then navigate through the expert tree to find what I am looking for.

Is there a way to limit where your searches happen?

@christopherlecky , the Expert and Essential split happened in 11.21; however, we JUST launched a new backend federated search (literally 3pm this past Tuesday).

The Machine Learning module is still…..learning :nerd:   It’s actually incredibly nimble, and should learn based on your behavior.

In the meantime, you can add the word expert to the end of your search string (same was possible in the old search) and it will favor those entries.

What’s really cool is that your search results will include KBs AND this community :sunglasses:
