Hello all

I have multiple Backup sets I want to create a rule on the backup set level to make sure that for example VM that is a member of backup sets does not belong to others

is that possible?

I need a rule that says { VM in Backup set 1 excluded from other backup sets } no manually exclude VM one by one from others backup sets

@Ayman_Seyam not sure this is something that can be automated.

Its an unusual request normally you create additional backsets so that you can have the same content.

Can I ask what is the end goal you are attempting to achieve?

I have a large number of VMs ( up to 4K) and there is an individual subclient for each one so the performance is very very low when I browse that backup set that’s why I’m thinking to create separate backup sets

Hi @Ayman_Seyam ,

Why don’t you Browse at the VM level instead?
