I have a Windows server configured as a VM running on VMware, this server has a LUN attached with iSCSI with a file system that is NOT a virtual disk. Am I correct in saying to back this up I need to use a Full Agent such as a Hardware agent? Currently as configured the only backups I am seeing are the Virtual disks associated with this server such as the startup disk.

See the “Data You Cannot Back Up” section in these docs:

https://documentation.commvault.com/11.24/essential/121183_backups_for_vmware.html

You will need to install a CV agent inside the VM to protect that file system.

Thanks,
Scott
