Adding Start Time details to a custom report

Hi Team,

 

Can you please help me to add start, end time and duration of the job in Commvault backup summary report?

It’s easier than it looks.

All you need to do is start a new custom report (well written instructions are here: 

and when you add in the fields, use this view:https://documentation.commvault.com/11.24/expert/5524_commcellbackupinfo.html

All you need to do is add the fields you want and sort them.  If you’re not too confident, follow the instructions EXACTLY like the first link/article to get your feet wet.  Next, try it again with other views (the one I linked).

I’m assuming you already have a copy of the report and just need to add the right columns?

This view has everything you need:

You just need to edit your copy/custom report and add those columns in.

Hi @Mike Struening, Thanks for your update.

 

Yes, i want to add 3 column in the existing backup summary job report with Start time, end time and duration.

 

I am not expert in creating queries, if possible can you please share the query and instruction so that i can try it. thanks!
