Is there any way to prevent updates and upgrades from being pushed to a client?

I recently ran into a problem where someone pushed an update to a client running V10 of the software because the OS/Application was EOL as of V11.

Naturally this broke the client, and the only way to get it fixed was via a reboot.

This is one of those systems that pretty much never get rebooted so it was something of a big deal.

I assume there is some additional setting out there that will allow blocking upgrades and updates.

LMK.

Thanks.

Chris.

Hi @christopherlecky

Other than restrict the user via Permissions settings I don't know a way to prevent this.

I will ask development and get back to you.

Thanks,

Hi @christopherlecky

You can use the additional setting below at client or client group level to prevent the updates

It might take some time to take effect on the clients if applied at client group level

Thank you,
