Multi-person authorization

Kindly disable 2FA at the CommCell level. Please note that if the User Security Enhancement workflow is active, 2FA will be automatically re-enabled after 24 hours. Therefore, the workflow also needs to be disabled to prevent re-enablement.

Disable 2FA in Command Center

1. CommCell Level

• Go to Manage > CommCell.
• In the General section, move the Enable two factor authentication toggle to the left.

2. Company Level

• Go to Manage > Companies.
• Click the company name.
• In the General section, move the Enable two factor authentication toggle to the left.

3. User Group Level

• Go to Manage > Security.
• Click the Users groups tile.
• Click the user group name.
• In the General section, click Edit.
• Clear the Enable two factor authentication checkbox.
• Click Save.

Important:
After disabling 2FA, you must restart the Commvault services using the Process Manager for the changes to take effect.

Thanks but I’m talking about Multi-person authorization and not two factor authentication.

When I need to delete an agent or library for example, I’m getting a message that the operation require another admin approve.

If I’m disabling the workflow it take effect for only 24 hours and I’m looking for a permanent solution.

Starting with Platform Release 11.36, MPA for destructive operations is mandatory and cannot be permanently disabled.

To ensure security, the authorization and deletion operations cannot be edited or deleted. They can only be disabled for 24 hours, after which they will be re-enabled automatically.
