Applying New License with Different CCID on Existing CS

Dear Team,

 

We have obtained a new license (new CCID) and would like to apply it to our existing CommServe, which is currently associated with a different CCID. Could you please advise if this is feasible?

Hi ​@Amr Shboul ,

The license file cannot be exchanged between two different CCIDs, as it is generated based on the purchase count, quantity, and specific CCID information embedded within the XML file.

To avoid any issues, kindly generate a new license against the respective CCID.

Licenses are bond to CCIDs, it won’t be possible to apply to other servers.

 

You may speak with the Licensing team and they can probably help changing the License file to be linked to the correct CCID.
